Former University of Kansas baseball captain and longtime business leader and philanthropist Forrest Hoglund has been named the newest recipient of the George H.W. Bush Distinguished Alumnus Award. Read More.

Judge Thelton Henderson has been named the recipient of the George H.W. Bush Distinguished Alumnus Award for his post-college baseball achievements as an accomplished civil rights advocate and federal judge.

Dr. John Olerud was honored by the National College Baseball Hall of Fame as he became the fifth recipient of the George H.W. Bush Distinguished Alumnus Award on July 16, 2016. 

The baseball community came alive, stories flowing, as the National College Baseball Hall of Fame honored Vin Scully with the George H.W. Bush Distinguished Alumnus Award at Bel-Air Country Club.

A packed house at the Grand Ballroom of the Renaissance Worthington Hotel came together as Roger Williams and Dr. Bobby Brown were honored with the George H. W. Bush Distinguished Alumnus Award, presented by the National College Baseball Hall of Fame. 

The award is named after its inaugural recipient, George H.W. Bush, who after playing for Yale from 1946 to 1948 went on to be elected the 41st President of the United States.
