College Baseball Foundation Welcomes Mike Haverty to Board of Trustees
OVERLAND PARK, Kansas – The College Baseball Foundation (CBF) is proud to announce the addition of former University of Missouri pitcher and accomplished business leader Mike Haverty to its Board of Trustees.
“We are thrilled to have Mike become a member of the Board of Trustees,” CBF CEO and Executive Director Tom Jacobs said. “Mike’s background as both a high-level student-athlete and an accomplished business leader brings tremendous value to our organization. His passion for the game and commitment to excellence make him a perfect fit for our Board of Trustees.”
Following his playing career, Haverty transitioned into coaching, serving as an assistant baseball coach at Texas A&M while completing his MBA. He later built an impressive career in business, including leadership roles at JE Dunn Construction, where he helped establish nationally recognized data center and corporate headquarters construction practices. He currently serves as a founding member of Remedi8 Company, a national fire and life safety company based in Lenexa, Kan.
In addition to his professional success, Haverty is deeply involved in community and civic leadership. He has served on numerous boards and advisory councils, including the UMKC Bloch School of Business Advisory Council and the board of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) Gold Kansas City Chapter, among others. His contributions have earned him recognition such as Ingram’s Magazine’s “Top 50 Kansans You Should Know” and “40 Under 40.”
“I’m honored to join the College Baseball Foundation Board of Trustees,” Haverty said. “College baseball has played a significant role in my life, and I’m excited to support the Foundation’s mission of preserving the game’s history and celebrating its future.”
The CBF is the parent organization of the College Baseball Hall of Fame (CBHOF). Haverty is among 21 trustees who present annual player and coach awards and induct a new class of Hall of Fame honorees each year, including the 2026 College Baseball Hall of Fame class, which is announced in June and will be honored at the Night of Champions in February 2027, in Overland Park.
