College Baseball Foundation Announces 2025 All-America Team

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Headlined by a trio of nationally recognized shortstops, Alex Lodise, Florida State (Dick Howser Trophy), Roch Cholowsky, UCLA (Brooks Wallace Award) and Wehiwa Aloy, Arkansas (Golden Spikes Award), the College Baseball Foundation (CBF) unveiled its 2025 All-America team on Wednesday. 

This is the sixth-consecutive year that the CBF has selected an All-America team. The team is selected by members of the CBF award committees. 

The 2025 All-America team includes 10 players who competed in the 2025 Men’s College World Series, including three players from the 2025 National Champion LSU Tigers, including MCWS Most Outstanding Player (pitcher) Kade Anderson. The team also includes National Pitcher of the Year Jake Knapp, North Carolina, and John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Evan Dempsey, Florida Gulf Coast.

“Following another compelling college baseball season, we are pleased to announce our 2025 College Baseball Foundation All-America team,” CBF National Awards Chairman Chris Snead said. “This year’s team includes national award winners and the country’s top performers at every position. Congratulations to these deserving individuals.” 

The CBF All-America Team is part of an extensive awards program celebrating college baseball. The Night of Champions presented by Prairiefire will honor the recently announced 2025 College Baseball Hall of Fame class as well as this season’s winners of the College Baseball Foundation awards including Cholowksy, UCLA (Brooks Wallace Award); Knapp, North Carolina (National Pitcher of the Year); Dempsey, Florida Gulf Coast (John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year); Brad Neffendorf, LSU Shreveport (Skip Bertman Coach of the Year); and Larry Lee, Cal Poly (Wayne Graham Award for Teaching Excellence). Lodise, Florida State (Dick Howser Trophy) and the 2025 Buster Posey Award winner (TBA) will also be recognized as recipients of awards affiliated with the College Baseball Foundation.

The 2026 Night of Champions presented by Prairiefire on February 12, 2026 in Overland Park, Kansas, the home of the College Baseball Hall of Fame. The event will serve as the ceremonial start to the 2026 college baseball season, which begins on February 13, 2026.
